organization of teachers, administrators, and others involved in foreign
language teaching and promotion of cultural understanding.

TFLTA runs a listserv hosted

You are invited to subscribe (free) to this service by sending an email message to: "mailserv@alpha.rhodes.edu". Leave the subject line blank, and enter the following command into the body of the email.:
"subscribe TFLTA" (do not type quotation marks)
You can unsubscribe using the command "unsubscribe TFLTA" in the body of an email sent to the same address.
Appropriate messages can be sent to all subscribers by sending an email to "TFLTA@alpha.rhodes.edu".
TFLTA publishes the newsletter
"ECHO" and mails it to all current TFLTA members.
TFLTA organizes and conducts a statewide conference
each year that includes workshops, banquets, and many exhibits of equipment and
materials of interest to language teachers from elementary through university
level.
TFLTA's Dale Sievers Fund for the Future
provides several awards for new teachers and language education students to
attend the annual fall conference.
TFLTA recognizes outstanding
TFLTA has sponsored two quilt
contests in 2005 and 2006.
